Coastlines were mapped with a 5 km buffer applied between 60°S and 60°N.

SRTM30-PLUS-V11 (Becker et al. 2009):

Source of topography and geomorphology. Resolution: ca. 1km2, static. Accuracy evaluation: quantitative (variable).
